On this one why did you not use diesel and acetone mixture to free the engine?

Amazing..... runs good. I bet it needs that carb rebuilt or cleaned... the random misfires and bucking is probably fuel or carb.

One thing I do like about thee videos is that they are similar in so many way to "The Zach Life" - the young Texas guy who spends his time at work in his oilfield and workshop, fixing and making things, replacing worn parts and in-between whiles, building his "Toter Home" and other projects. I must admit, on here, I love the "will it start" videos, and in truth, just getting a few things together to attempt a start on a 'forty-odd' year old tractor with a stuck engine....... Got some acetone, got some ATF, got some long bars, trying to find some Evaporust and some PB Blaster, but they're not easy to find here in the UK.

Love the classic looks. It would be neat if the horn worked. If they made a 2024 model that looked like the 35, I'd buy it! Fun video, thanks.

This ole man showed me even if you sand the points sanding grit can fall off and stop the contact of the points, so he showed me that after you sand or file the points put a piece of paper in-between the points and pull it out and the dirt or grit will be removed.

Great videos! Amazed you're able to start these engines that have been off for decades! Drove to my dad's house in Connecticut and took him out for Father's Day today. On my way to my dad's house I drive by a house with a truck from probably the 1930s or 1940's in the front yard. It has been sitting there at least since 1994. I bet you would be able to start it. Is that motor sleeved? Sometimes sleeves warp and bind. That makes for some weird idleing and noises. May be why it was parked in the first place.

Your expertise in getting these old trucks and cars is something to behold I dips my lid to you sir One thing though for the future Is there any electric drill that is powerful enough to turn these motors over instead of using a crank handle you could make an adaptor that connected directly to motor 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
